    Simple and reliable

    We decided at the last minute that we needed a shuttle between the ceremony location and the reception. My now husband called Royal Carriages the week of the wedding and they sorted it all out in one call. You were there on time. The shuttle was clean and the staff was helpful. Very happy with them!

    I didn't want a big limousine for my wedding day. My church is small and unassuming, and we didn't want anything flashy, so we chose a nice black suburb instead because I really only needed to get from the hotel to our church. The Suburb was clean and looked great inside and out. The driver was on time and waited for me and the suburb was able to comfortably accommodate me, my MOH, my father, one of the flower girls and two bridesmaids. He carefully drove through the traffic at the Galleria on Saturday afternoon and still got us to the church near downtown with plenty of time. Ike calmed my nerves while we waited in the suburbs for showtime by cracking a few jokes and offering us a bottle of water. He even helped a couple of groomsmen and my dad with their butonnierres and told guests parking in front of the church (no parking zone/fire line) to go around to the back lot!! Thank you Ike and Royal Carriages for your impeccable customer service! We couldn't be happier!

    The service was great - they were quick to respond and were able to change our booked time at the last minute. Our driver was friendly and took us everywhere on time. The limousine was in wonderful condition. The price was reasonable compared to other limousine companies. Overall I would definitely recommend Royal Carriages!

    Our wedding day was nothing short of hectic, as so often is for everyone, but this company went all out and took care of all our transportation worries. The car was beautiful, the chauffeur professional, they rolled out a red carpet for us when we came out of the church. I couldn't have been more excited. Thank you Royal Carriages for everything, we will definitely be using you again in the near future.

    They were very helpful and were able to meet our needs. We hired three limousines and all were clean with professional drivers. There was a slight mix up but after calling the company it was fixed within two minutes. They were able to accommodate a last minute location change request and I would use them again. I had a wonderful experience!

    The limousine was set up perfectly and arrived at the church on time. The driver rolled out a red carpet for us and got us exactly where we wanted to go. He later picked us up from reception and took us to the hotel. It was near perfect service. Our only issue was that we specifically asked the driver if we had tipped him and he said no so we left $90. After reviewing our files, we found we had it. However, after complaining, they refunded the tip with no problem and apologized profusely to the driver. Maybe it was an honest mistake by the driver.

    We had a limousine pick us up from our front desk and take us to our home and hotel. The limousine was very nice and the driver was very friendly and accommodating. He even came earlier for us when we wanted to leave a few minutes early. We had a great time.

    Ok, so I gave them 3 stars because 1. Online reservations were not possible. Just call 2. After I got out of the limousine, my wedding dress was covered in black stuff from the limousine seats. Yuck!!! Other than that I was glad they were there on time and knew where to go.

    We rented two vehicles from this company for our wedding anniversary. We had 2 different experiences with 2 different drivers/2 different vehicles. The first vehicle we got for the day was a black limousine bus with 20 passengers. The driver had NO idea where she was going, didn't even ask for help with directions, and a 10 minute drive took 30 minutes. Also, there was NO air conditioning, the driver had to pull the emergency train to open the door, and the radio didn't work. So having most of our wedding party on the bus with no air conditioning was awful. Our exit vehicle was a standard black 10 passenger sedan. Our driver was amazing and so accommodating! We were 5-10 minutes behind schedule and he was kind enough to wait a few more minutes and when he dropped us off at our hotel he helped us check in with all our luggage. He was great! I would use this company again but definitely not request the same limousine bus.

    We used Royal Carriages to hire a town car for a wedding. We had a few bucks left over from our wedding budget and instead of letting a friend give us a ride in his car, we thought we'd spend our remaining cash in a limousine. Luckily the price was right and availability was given.

    We booked an antique Royals Royce as our getaway car. It was beautiful and the chauffeur had chilled champagne for us on our drive away. We could not have been happier with the car and the ease of booking with the company. We also had a license plate with our name on it.

    We were a bit skeptical about the price given the length of the ride. The website states that the rental price includes only one trip from A to B, which in our case was less than a mile. But the driver took us on a little trip around Houston before dropping us off so we could sip our champagne and enjoy the moment.

    I was very happy with our limousine service, I spoke personally to the owner Tony, what a nice man and very professional.
    Our driver was always on time and knew exactly where to go.

    My husband and I had some money left over for transportation from the venue to the hotel and Royal Carriages was able to accommodate us the week before our wedding date. On the night of the wedding we called the driver to see if he could pick us up a little earlier than expected and he was there within 15 minutes of our call. However, during the short drive from our venue to the hotel, the driver got lost, rolled down the partition and rudely demanded the turn-by-turn directions. Talk about a buzz kill. When we got to the hotel the driver seemed in a hurry to drop us off and get on our way (even though we paid for his services for an hour and the journey took 30 minutes). It seemed like a cab ride rather than a limousine ride from our wedding.

    I'll get to the little things later, but what I hated most about it (and maybe it was just my driver) was that he missed the turnoff to my venue and GO ON. He kept telling me that "the road is up here," and I kept arguing with him that "no, I know where I'm going to get married, and that was the only way to get there." First off, I didn't like that he didn't know where he was going. But I could have let that slide because anyone can get lost. But arguing with me about where it was and how to get there was totally unacceptable. He actually drove about 5 more blocks before deciding I was right and turned around. (All of this is taking place during Friday night rush hour, my sister is about to get sick in the car - he was a CRAZY driver and I'll soon be late to meet my photographer.)
    The little things... He wanted to be paid upfront. I didn't like that because who knows, he'll get the money, bring us over to get our hair done, he could leave us there - it wouldn't matter because he already had the money... The other thing, There was no ice in the limousine. I wasn't expecting soda or water, but there wasn't even ice. I guess you have to request that extra?
    All in all - I wouldn't recommend it as you never know if you'll get the same driver as me and he was awful.

    Worst bus service in Houston

    WORST SERVICE IN HOUSTON!! DRIVER LOST! A TWENTY MIN. RIDE TURNS INTO OVER AN HOUR. THE DRIVER DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO TURN THE BUS AFTER GOING LOST ON A DARK GRAVEL ROAD. PASSENGERS ON THE BUS HAD TO HELP HER RETURN THE BUS!! DO NOT USE!!

    Used for shuttle service and getaway car.
    This company was not user friendly.
    The driver was rude.
    They didn't know where they were going and were therefore late (didn't even know where they were going with the addresses and GPS). Not all guests were picked up. Because they were so late, each guest drove their own car or carpooled so as not to miss the ceremony.
    Unprofessional, unhelpful and a waste of money.
    Not pleased. Won't be using this company for anything else.

    Our limo didn't show up at the church to pick up my husband and I after our wedding. I called and the lady I spoke to was very rude and said that I called the day before and canceled without giving a reason and that the girl who called only gave a first name and no last name. Then the lady said she called my mobile number which was not my mobile number and confirmed the cancellation. And after arguing for a few minutes, she said it would take a total of 20 minutes for a new sedan to arrive. I called 15 minutes later and she said it would be another 20-25 minutes. It doesn't even take 15 minutes to get to the church! I said forget it and have him come to reception at 1:25. He arrived extremely early in the wrong color sedan and didn't give us the red carpet promised in the contract. The lady said she would make a note about a partial refund but no one has bothered to contact me since. We didn't receive any paid service and they didn't confirm any cancellation to me. The story sounded made up because they ran out of cars and we were an hour late for a 2 1/2 hour reception. I called the number they said they called and there was no Shannon on that number so they lied. End of the story. Even when I went into business, they kept arguing with me and made me the villain. Terrible service and no customer service!!! They are in the better business office so file your complaint with them too!

    Worst experience I have ever had with a limousine company!!!!!
    You ruined my wedding night!!!!!
    I had booked them for 10:30am to pick us up, they charged me an hour earlier (starting at 9:30am because the wedding was in Friendswood and it would take an hour to get there!) So 10 came: 30pm and the limousine wasn't there!!! All my guests were waiting outside. The people who ran the apartment I rented got mad at me for not booking the apartment for overtime. I called the main limousine office and they contacted the driver. They then called me back and said the driver was 10 minutes away. 20 minutes passed and he still wasn't there!!!!! My husband and I both called and started complaining because the place was charging us extra for the time. Finally the driver showed up 40 minutes late!!!!!!!! Didn't have a wedding sign or red carpet as I paid for in the wedding package. The driver was very rude, didn't say anything to us, then got a flat tire a few km after driving us away!!!!!!!! It stopped and at that point we were angry. We called the office and they didn't pick up! ! ! ! The driver said they could get another limousine but it would take an HOUR!! We had a 9am flight to Maui the next morning and thank goodness one of our family members drove by and saw us and picked us up otherwise I wouldn't have had our wedding night at all!! I WOULD NEVER BOOK THIS COMPANY AGAIN, THE SERVICE AND DRIVER WAS TERRIBLE!!!!!!

    AWFUL!! We used this company to transport guests to and from our wedding. We learned from guests about the terrible service (door of the bus opened on the highway, bus driver used profanity towards my aunt, grandmother fell off the bus while getting off because the driver didn't get off for her, etc.).BUT, the story will be told later worse when I called the company about the service. After several attempts to reach the manager, he finally called me (who told me his name was Tony) back and I explained how unhappy I was and how I thought this company prides itself on their excellent service. After we had to convince him in principle, he agreed to reimburse us part of the sum we paid. Days went by and we heard nothing after he told me he would call me back in 2 hours and email me the paperwork to refund us. We called several times and when Tony was never available we ended up speaking to another man who was. He told us his name is Carlos and he is a bus driver. After informing him he said he couldn't really help us and we needed to speak to Tony. Well, he put us on hold and then put us through to another representative who I had already spoken to. BUT, this is where it gets amazing. Come to find out the man we spoke to through the second representative who admitted it to us WAS TONY, and not only that, HE WAS THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY and his real name is HUSSEIN!! So, recap: The OWNER of the company lied numerous times, pretended to be two different people and still hasn't delivered on their promise of reimbursement! Who runs a company and is so cowardly that they can't even honestly say who they are?! It wasn't until we told them we knew exactly who we were talking to and would get our lawyer involved that they finally sent us the reimbursement form. Here we are 3 weeks later after signing and submitting the refund form (4 weeks after the original conversation with Tony/Carlos/Hussein) and still not having our money! Whatever you do, DO NOT USE ROYAL CARRIAGES!
